Your $10 donation will help support local mothers and their children in a women's shelter that provides safe emergency shelter and comprehensive support services to all victims of family violence. In most cases, women typically leave suddenly from their everyday situations and need help making life as normal as possible for themselves and their children. They need everyday items.
Did you know that in Atlanta, over 13,000 people wake up without a place to call home. Approximately 2,500 of them are children.
35.1% of Georgia women experience intimate partner physical violence, sexual violence and/or stalking. In 2020, 136 Georgia citizens lost their lives due to domestic violence. Georgia ranks 10th in the nation for the rate at which women are killed by domestic violence.
